​In this post, we share the details of a new installation coordinated by Todojardín Estepona in a penthouse in the neighbouring town of Marbella. The client had a fantastic open terrace with cream ceramic floors and grey walls in an attic... and unconventional ideas.

​1. The constraints of the design of the terrace decoration.

​Our guests loved the views from their penthouse on the Costa del Sol. They prioritized having a seating area with spacious and comfortable sofas. They also wanted a dining area for the regular use of eight people.
The challenge was to get such enormous furniture pieces on an attic terrace that was accessed through a small gate and narrow stairs.

​2. The proposal.

​The new NS NUAGE collection with a modern design, soft and clean lines, excellent weather resistance, durability and ease of maintenance was finally chosen for this area so bright and open to the outside.

The terrace is very spacious, so it was decided to include a third area with SEAGULL aluminium sun loungers that complement the sofas' style. Their porotex cushions in calima colour that provide resistance to the sun will facilitate its cleaning and quick-drying if at any time they get wet.

Not having any shaded area, it was decided to incorporate a sizeable telescopic parasol adjustable with 360º rotation. That allows moving to different areas of the terrace thanks to its helpful wheels.

​3. The development of the project.

​After the decoration proposal of this incredible terrace was outlined, we faced the problem of placing all the desired pieces in the attic. Many of them didn't fit in the elevator or even the internal stairs. So we had to improvise the delivery by air.

Due to the impossibility of raising the most voluminous furniture by hand, nor placing any type of ramp was chosen to employ a crane that gave us the option of being able to furnish this terrace. In just a few minutes, our teammates left the entire installation as planned: Sofas in the area closest to the house and dining room, sun loungers and parasol in the outermost zone, all with spectacular views of Puerto Banus.

​Said and done.

​4. The result.

The decoration of cushions of the living area stands out for the soft tones in aquamarine and gray, to differentiate both areas we seek the contrast of orange cushions in the dining set.
The ease of maintenance and durability of the materials have been very important elements due to the sun exposure they must endure, so the choice of NS INTERNATIONAL furniture is a guarantee of quality.
